Enhancement to what is available ShowMe App ([url removed, login to view])
User Interface should be all drag and drop or intuitive.
1. iPad user can record what's happening on-screen
a. moving objects (currently not possible on ShowMe)
b. tracing of finger and stylus pen
c. keyboard entry of text & characters
d. user audio speaking
<functions: record, pause, stop>
2. Able to Import and categorize into folders:
a. static image files to be used as objects: background, foreground etc
b. animated objects with moving parts* similar to [url removed, login to view] videopuppet app or GoAnimate characters
e.g. moving mouth, moving legs, rotating wheels etc
c. sound files for movie editing*
d. package of images or animated objects as a folder*
<every package upgrade will cost a certain amount of credits, to be bought on website>
*for upgrade to the paid version. Basically users pay for additional packs as upgrades.
3. To have selectable up to 3 layers like videopuppet: background, foreground, object
4. Drawing Toolbox (double touch to select object to edit):
a. Re-Size (two-finger stretch or shrink)
b. Rotate (two-finger rotate)
d. Group/Ungroup (finger tap to select, next finger touch on next object, release first finger, touch third object and so on to select. Then press group)
f. Basic Shapes: Square, Oval
h. Color: Basic 16 (for line, shapes)
i. Eraser: Thick, Thin, Middle, Swipe (removes all in one layer)
j. pointer: select type of pointer, can be an object like a finger
k. Line: dotted, double, end with arrow
5. Export via Email, Camera-Gallery, Drop-Box Share: Facebook, You-Tube, and other future popular social media sites.
6. MovieMaker ToolBox: Movie Editing Similar to video puppet style with functions:
a. Edit by StoryBoard or Time-line (user can set time-line by splitting, cropping or combining timelines: video and audio)
b. Potential to Insert Transition Effects: Page Flip, Corner Page Turn, Fade in/Out (not needed for this basic project, for future enhancements)
