We're looking for someone to assist with development of a wedding planning website. The website is used by couples to fill out a "profile" containing information about their wedding ceremony, including date, time, location, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, bride & groom information, wedding party members, family members, musical selections, liturgical readings/prayers, registration locations, and post directions to ceremony and pictures as needed.
The system must be reasonably secure. Each couple will sign up with an email address as username and create a password. From there, several sections of the user interface will allow the couple to fill in information as it is collected. Other people involved in the wedding ceremony: family, pastor/priest, musicians, readers, etc., should be able to be notified via email of changes that the couple makes. For example, when selecting a reading, the couple will be able to set a reader and a reader's email. Once saved, any changes to that reading selection would be automatically sent to the reader - that way changes are automatically sent only to those people who are affected by the change.
The entire system must also be managed by a relatively comprehensive advertising tracking system. The couples will enter their residential zip code and zip codes for their rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Once logged in, all advertisements displayed must be proximate to the couple's location.
Another category of the website will be "wedding vendor search" where a categorized listing of vendors (tux shops, flower shops, caterers, etc.) will be listed. Searches can be done via City, State, or radius to a zip code. (Being able to run zip code proximity queries is a requirement for bidding. If you don't know how to do this, please do not bid). Ad tracking of CPM and CPC must be possible. 3rd party software solutions are acceptable but bidder is responsible for full integration.
Additional revenue streams may follow from expanded features, but the basic site as describe here is what is up for bid.
