Updates go in on staging in small batches with WP_DEBUG logging on, so any fatal or notice is traceable to one specific plugin rather than a pile of twenty; PHP is stepped up only after the codebase passes clean. Testing is done by hand across Chrome, Edge, Safari, iPhone and Android at desktop, tablet and mobile widths — menus, forms with real test submissions, buttons, key templates — and only then does the staging copy get deployed to Production and re-tested.
