This should be a easy job for an experienced Wordpress Woocommerce expert as the job is primarily tweaking and cleaning up an existing site. I have already spun up a sandbox copy of my WooCommerce site on Hostinger using Duplicator as it has been restored. The migration completed, I can log in and browse, but some page images may not have made it across because the backup was incomplete. The error I received when restoring using the duplicator WP backup plugin, to a sandbox site (on hostinger our preferred host) was: 'We've restored your website, however some images are missing, due to an incomplete backup'. Here is what I need right now: • Manually re-upload the missing images. I still have access to every image—either in the original live site (lower-res versions) or inside the older backup I can hand over to you—so nothing needs to be recreated from scratch. • Bring every core, theme and plug-in up to date, test for conflicts, and make sure the storefront and checkout still run smoothly afterward. • Swap in new business email addresses where the old ones appear on-site or in system notifications. • Run a quick round of functionality and user-acceptance testing with me so we know the sandbox is bulletproof before I point DNS to it. Also required is to remove any references and logos from the site in relation to the old hosting company, who but appear to have a change of management or gone out of business as they do not respond to messages and their emails are bouncing. Further it will be necessary to resubscribe to a couple of plug ins, I can assist with this as it requires credit card details for annual subscription, these were previously operating without issue. Once this refresh is complete, I want the admin area set up so I can add new products without wrestling the theme; please leave clear notes or a quick Loom video if a custom workflow is involved. If everything goes well and you’re easy to work with, there will be light, ongoing site-care tasks in the future—things like adding products or tweaking promotions when I’m too busy. You’ll be working with: WordPress, WooCommerce, Duplicator, Hostinger’s hPanel, standard page-builder tools and a handful of common plug-ins. Access to the sandbox, backups and the original live site will be provided as soon as we start. Let’s get the images back in place, knock out the updates, and make the cut-over seamless. We will take care of DNS and company email set up as part of hostinger and DNS cutover, so some email addresses might need to be updated post DNS cutover. Prior to this we can use gmail email addresses for website contact forms etc.

The smart part of your setup is that you've kept the sandbox separate — so I can do all the tune-up and image work safely before DNS ever points at it, with zero risk to your live store. For the missing images, rather than re-uploading blindly I'd first pull the full-resolution originals from your older backup's wp-content/uploads and restore them into the matching folder structure so the existing database links resolve automatically — much cleaner than manually re-attaching each one, and I'd use the lower-res live versions only as a fallback for anything the backup is missing. Then I take a sandbox snapshot, update core, theme and plugins one group at a time checking for conflicts, and test the storefront and checkout after each. New business emails swapped everywhere they appear on-site and in WooCommerce notification settings, and the old host's logos and references removed. Then a UAT round with you before go-live. I can start immediately once you share access and the old backup.

✅ Hello, We can fix the WooCommerce sandbox on Hostinger after the Duplicator restore: recover missing images from the live site/older backup, update core/theme/plugins, replace old emails, and remove old host branding before DNS cutover. We would start with a media audit and conflict check so storefront, checkout, forms, and notifications are tested on the real final setup. - Keep the existing theme/page builder; no rebuild needed. - Use WooCommerce and Duplicator; avoid extra builder add-ons. - Re-subscribe needed plugins and test cart, checkout, forms, emails. - Update all components, enable caching, and verify key pages speed. We’re a Ukraine-based studio with 8+ years, Preferred Freelancer status, and 580+ 5★ reviews. Is the sandbox on the same theme/plugin stack as live, or were any items skipped in restore? Do you want only missing media restored, or also any product/content migration from the old site? Please let me know your thoughts. Looking forward, Roman

The main risk here is not the missing images themselves, but making sure the restored sandbox stays stable after updates so nothing breaks at storefront, cart, or checkout level. I’d tackle this by first auditing what assets are missing and where they can be sourced from, then updating WordPress/theme/plugins in a safe sequence with testing after each stage instead of doing it all in one jump. I handle this kind of WordPress + WooCommerce cleanup work regularly—restores, plugin conflicts, image/media recovery, Hostinger migrations, and pre-cutover checks before a site is pointed live. I can also leave the admin side cleaner so adding products later does not become a theme-related headache. I can include brief admin notes, and if needed a short walkthrough video for the product workflow. - Which page builder/theme stack is active on the site now? - Roughly how many images seem to be missing across pages/products? - Do you want me to update the temporary Gmail/contact-form addresses now and leave the final DNS-linked addresses for after cutover?

Hi, You’ve already done the hard part by restoring the sandbox , what’s left is the careful cleanup that keeps a relaunch from turning into a support headache. I can help restore the missing WooCommerce images, update WordPress/core/plugins safely, remove old hosting references, and switch the site over to the new business emails without breaking checkout or admin workflows. I’ve handled WordPress and WooCommerce tune-ups, migration cleanup, Duplicator restores, Hostinger hPanel tasks, plugin resubscriptions, and post-update testing many times. I’ll work through the sandbox methodically, verify storefront and checkout behavior after each change, and leave the admin area easier to use for adding products and managing promotions. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. If a custom workflow is needed, I’ll document it clearly or record a short Loom walkthrough so nothing is left unclear. Which theme and page builder are you using, and do you want the old hosting company branding removed from theme settings too? I can start by reviewing the sandbox, missing media list, and plugin/license dependencies, then we can decide the safest update order. Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Thanks, Asad

The Duplicator restore warning about an “incomplete backup” gives us a clear starting point: I’ll compare the sandbox media library with the original site and older backup, then restore each missing image without recreating content. I’ll update WordPress, WooCommerce, the theme, and plugins on Hostinger, checking storefront, cart, checkout, forms, and notifications for conflicts. I’ll replace old hosting references and logos, configure temporary Gmail addresses where needed, note any plugin subscriptions requiring your card, and leave a simple product-adding workflow with a short Loom handover. You’ll receive the refreshed, tested sandbox in 3 days, ready for your DNS cutover. I previously restored a blank wp-admin by tracing it to an outdated caching plugin incompatible with the server PHP. Do you already have the older Duplicator backup ready to share for locating the missing images? Muhammad Saad

You already have the hard part done with the sandbox restore; what matters now is cleaning up the gaps without introducing fresh issues before DNS cutover. I’d approach it in stages: recover missing media, remove old host references/logos, update the stack carefully, then run through storefront and checkout testing so the sandbox is genuinely ready. Most WooCommerce problems after a migration come from rushed updates, broken media paths, or unnoticed plugin/theme conflicts. I’ve worked on exactly these refresh jobs on WordPress environments using common builders, Duplicator backups, and Hostinger setups, so the focus would be stability first and then making product management easier for you afterward. I can also document the product-entry workflow clearly so future uploads are less frustrating. - Is the older backup accessible as a full archive, or mainly as image files/media folders? - Are the old hosting-company references only visual branding, or are there links/settings/emails tied to them too? - About how many paid plugins need re-subscribing so I can factor the testing properly?
