The plugin you created for me is working great, but I'm finding that the database that LinkShare maintains is not consistent. This is causing some products not to show up because they are in all different types of categories.
For example, if you view this query in your browser, you'll see that the first two products are for Adobe software, when all products should be only the "Motorola Xoom".

One way to get around that is to filter out products based on the product name.
If you modify the plugin to check if the <productname> contains the "XML Feed Keyword". If it does, then the product gets listed. If it doesn't, then it gets skipped. This fix will allow the plugin to get around the inconsistencies with which products are posted to in the database, and generate more accurate results for the users.
The filter should work as if doing a broad keyword search on Google.
For example, searching for "IdeaPad K1" should yield results if the the <productname> field contains Lenovo K1, Lenovo IdeaPad K1, Lenovo IdeaPad, IdeaPad, K1, or Lenovo K1.
I understand that there may be certain limitations to this process. I know that if I use "Lenovo IdeaPad K1" I might get irrelevant results because of the word "Lenovo." So, I will have to be careful when choosing the right XML Feed Keyword.
More specifically, if you look at the following post and the details that I provide for you within the post, you will see what I mean:
