529819 Wordpress Stylesheet

I need help finalizing a design into css for a wordpress blog.

My particular trouble lies in the design element not allowing for a complete side div.

Please see the design in attached file. Here is the mess I currently have: [url removed, login to view]

The goal is to remove the center images and be able to stretch the container by adding a straight line after the decorative curve and before the stylized footer.

I'm fairly good with css but can't figure out how to get the elements to lay down properly.

The second goal - and this can be quoted separately if you wish - is to take the header buttons (that are obvious in layout) and get them to work with the wordpress cascading header tool. The header has been built, but at this point is not displaying properly due to some erroneous css tinkering.

Once selected, you will be given access to wordpress login.
