Searchable Serial number Database (Wordpress?)

I'm looking to make a site (I think this can be most easily be done in WordPress)
We want to have the user come on, see our main page with us talking about the site, then they can search a serial number.
Once they search the serial number, it should show details about what that serial number belongs to as long as it's been added into the system. (adding product through WooCommerce?)
We want to be able to enter specific details about an item and have these details shown about the item searched.
Serial number
Item photo
Description
Date Purchased
Original Purchase Price
Where Purchased
Owner Name (we could change this is resold, OR preferably if we could add “New owner and New details” So it could have a log of the total history of the item)?
Optional Link(s) that we can add to get more information (possibility to add a few buttons with links)
User should come to the site, see basic info and see a search box to search for their serial number"
When they search they will see the details that we have entered for that Serial number (what the item is that attaches to that serial number)
We don't really want everyone being able to see all items, only the item they searched for
When they get their result, they can go back to the main page or search for another item number.
There should be no way to buy (unless we add a link that might point to buy one on another page) remove Add to cart and any purchase buttons.
This site should offer no sales, only lookup of what item belongs to what serial number.
I think this is pretty simple, I just Want to be able to add the extra info I mentioned above to be displayed on the "product" page
If the user searches for an item they just purchased, the "Item page" should have a link to a form where the user can submit a form for us to "Update" the information. (We would get an email and update the info ourself, it doesn’t need to have the user update the information. )
What I mean by this is...
Some items we will add in the basic info (serial number, name of the item and a photo) but will not have purchaser info until After they purchase it, so a form that the new owner can fill out after they purchase the item that will let us know What info to add to the Item like who the new owner is and what the other details are so we can update the details. OR if an item sells, we will be able to have them let us know new owner info to add to the item.
Again I think this would be most easily done in Wordpress, but I’m open to any other options that would work as described above.
