Wordpress plugin for displaying text only sections of a book using shortcode

We need a plugin for WORDPRESS which provides some key shortcodes to display bible passages of text.

The text is stored in directries VOLUME_NAME/BOOK_NUMBER[1-nBooks]/[1-nChaptersInBook].txt and [login to view URL]

[login to view URL] contains 1 line which is the name of the bookfiles [login to view URL] correspond to the verses in chapter 1, chapter 2, ...

The number BOOK_NUMBER is a directory which contains the chapters of the book.

I attach a zip file file with samples for 2 VOLUME_NAMES (darby and segond). NOTE: these are only samples the plugin needs to work when we add more volume_Names with differnet numbers of Books and chapters.

shortcodes needed:

1 Return the bible with dropdowns for navigating the books and chapters

Shortcode: [getvolume name="darby"]

This displays:

ADD simple HTML (as simple as possible only enough for styling) after the DIV

Display 2 drop downs (side by side) with classes="volume_book" and "volume_book_chapter".

1st drop down contains the list of book names, when we select a book, the list of available chapters appears in the second dropdown (1st chapter auto selected and displayed).

when we select another chapter, the corresponding WHOLE chapter (all verses in chapter read from the file [login to view URL]) is displayed below the dropdown.

Display of the chapter is simple <ul>

<li>3. verse 3</li>

...

</ul>

2. display of a given passage: Displays the name of the book (read from [login to view URL]) and the verse

a)display 1 verse

Shortcode: [getbook book="1" verses="1" volume="darby"]

b)display sequence of verses: Displays the name of the book followed by a sequence of verses

Shortcode: [getbook book="1" verses="1-10" volume="darby"]

In the case a volume book, chapter or verse is not available for any of the shortcodes a (translatable) error message should be disaplyed which includes the volume, book, chapter and verse number being searched for.

3. Implement at least 2 themes (light and dark) with different values of the foreground and background colors styled

Make the theme selectable as a dropdown in the plugin admin panel.

the keywords for the versions are given by the root folders (segond,darby) ,as we add other versions they should be found automatically if the keyword is used:

Please do not submit the wordpress plugin code must be made available as a standard zip file which can be installed and tested by me by uploading the plugin into a wordpress installation. Code must be "clean" as the plugin will be integrated into a much larger plugin.

Reference text files are encoded as UTF-8, special character MUST be displayed correctly.

ALL displayed Interface (including admin) MUST be translatable (use English by default, and add some sample translations with dropdown in the admin panel to switch between languages to show this is working). Note that there is very little translatable text to disaply for this plugin. Some translatable text examples are in the admin selecting of the themes, words "theme", "dark", "light". in the display of the short codes, the words "book", "chapter" etc should be translatable.
