Hi, there Three-way sync usually breaks in the same places. Two-way links create loops: a Notion update fires Airtable, which fires Notion again, burning Make operations and overwriting newer edits. Rate limits bite during bulk updates: Notion averages 3 requests per second per connection and Airtable 5 per second per base, with a 30-second lockout after a 429. Airtable's Free and Team plans also cap monthly API calls, and Microsoft 365 needs admin consent and token refresh, or flows stop silently weeks later. As Full-Stack Mobile Engineer (Contract) at Scopa Deals, I handled webhooks from Apple, Plaid, and ad platforms. I found Apple sends up to three events for one lapse and enforced one action per event with a database constraint, and moved deduplication into the database so it survived restarts.
