I have a Flash e-Learning project that has already been started. The module has a video component on one side of the stage. It has a placeholder for jpeg file in the center and a list component that is used for navigation on the other side. As it is currently written all the code is in an external as file. The as3 code loads the cuepoints and jpeg labels into the file. The video is also loaded into the video component through the xml file. The labels for each cuepoint are loaded into the list component. This allows navigation in the video. As each cuepoint is reached in the video it loads the specified jpeg to the stage. The current module will load the video file to the component. It loads the jpeg labels in the list component. It allows the user to navigate through the video by selecting the jpeg label in the list. These are the features I would like to add:
I want to add buffering progress on the top of the video component that shows the percentage of the progressive video that has been buffered with the word buffered next to it. I would like to use the spiral clock above it.
I want to add a timecode reader that displays the seconds played and the total time in the format - 00:00:00/00:00:00. to be located under the video component
I want the items in the list to load as the cuepoints are reached in the video download to avoid locking the program up if an item is selected before it has been downloaded.
The list component needs to be customized. I need the cells in the list to have either a transparent background or the same background as the stage. The text in the list need to be white. The outline around each cell needs to be transparent or the same color as the background. Keep the white box feature for the cell when it is selected or the mouse rolls over it. When the cell is selected I need the text to turn green. when the white box rolls over it it needs to be black. As each new cuepoint is reached I need the white box in the list component to move to the next item in the list. This will indicate which jpeg is loaded at all times
