I'd like a small script for Windows which monitors a MS Access database table. When new rows are added (new inventory items) with a set value, this triggers an automatic export of the new rows (new inventory items) in XML format.
For example, when a new row (inventory item) is added, the script looks at that row's "ItemNotes" column. If the value of the "ItemNotes" column is "web" or "Web", then this triggers certain column values (ProductName, ProductPrice, etc. etc.) from the entire row to be exported in XML format. The XML file will be saved in the same location every time, and replace the previous XML file.
Each instance of the XML file must represent the entire inventory, which means that any rows with an "ItemNotes" value of "web". Preferably, this would be done by editing the XML file to add new rows, and remove rows of items that have been sold since the last trigger event.
Thanks in advance for your time.
