I cannot award my project
Here are the common reasons why you cannot award your project:
- Your account is limited. Limited accounts can continue working on in-progress projects, but cannot award new ones. Resolve any account issues you may have first.
- You have no verified payment method set up. A verified payment method is a prerequisite to setting up weekly billing, which is required in awarding hourly projects.
- The freelancer has no available bids (HireMe). If you are trying to hire a freelancer directly, the project offer will fail if your chosen freelancer does not have bids available. If you have worked with them previously, have them notify you after they earn a bid credit.
- The freelancer does not have the skills required (HireMe). Trying to hire a freelancer directly for a project will result to an error if the freelancer does not have the skills you require. We suggest using the filters on our Freelancer Directory to find qualified freelancers for your project instead.
