Utility: The university’s cooling utility plant composed of 14 CYK chillers and 5 OM chillers (two modes of operation chilled water and glycol for ice storage) including their Condenser & Chilled Water/Glycol pumps plus 6 ice storage tanks, 8 Medium Voltage Distribution Pumps (2 Variable & 6 Constant Speed), & Fluid Cooler Fans (120 Fan) with full automated operation system including automatic lead‐lag selection, mode selection, and fault optimization to deliver chilled water to the whole university building Energy transfer systems ETS & Communicate with Old Cooling Utility plant (CUP I). Automation System: AB ControlLogix PAC for Central Utility Plant II (CUP II) with around 2000 Digital IO & 600 Analog IO). AB MicroLogix PLC for Energy Transfer Systems (23 ETS).
