Wow! So many Freelancers to choose from… why choose me? One reason is that I’m a perfectionist. This used to get me into trouble with time constraints, but over time and with experience, I have learned to produce exceptional work in an efficient manner. With a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and a law degree, I have developed both scientific objective skills and logical subjective skills, respectively. Further, after practicing law for fifteen years, I’ve become an excellent writer , editor, and proofreader. I have created my own documents as well and can provide samples at the appropriate time. I never procrastinate; I like to get my work done ahead of any given deadline.
At my first co-op job through Northeastern University (1982), at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cardiothoracic Laboratory, I worked on complex data entry programs, medical research, and medical writing, editing, and proofreading. This was done after we conducted in vivo studies of large and small animals while training medical doctors how to do open heart surgery. These articles would often appear in the world renowned “New England Journal of Medicine.” Over the years following law school, I have found that data entry, precise writing, editing, and proofreading has been a necessary part of each associate attorney position I held. As a senior legal auditor for Chubb Insurance, I determined whether the billing entries of outside law firms we hired were appropriate or efficient using a complex in-house data entry program.
Upon request, I can provide an employer with a breakdown of a document’s syntax, listing all adjectives; nouns; adverbs; verbs; prepositions; and conjunctions. I can also provide the number of characters, words, sentences, and approximate reading time of a given document. (This document is about 1:28 seconds!)
Thank you for your time!
