Having 8 years experience in basic design (thermal & mechanical design), detailed engineering and engineering management of static equipment (Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers etc.) for Refinery, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Power and Fertilizer Projects.
I am well experienced in specifying, designing, detailed engineering, requisitioning, bid evaluation, reviewing vendor data, co-ordination with other engineering disciplines / departments/ vendors /client and providing professional supports to Procurement, Project Control, Construction and Project Management.
Particular activities included the following:
• Engineering design involving Thermal & Mechanical calculations, Wet Surface Air Cooled Heat Exchanger, Air Cooled Condenser, Heat Exchanger & Air Coolers data sheets, and specifications.
• Coordination and resolving design issues with Vendors, Client, Other disciplines for various technical issues and site requirements.
• Equipment procurement specifications, material requisitions (MRQ / MRP).
• Technical Bid evaluations of suppliers and make recommendation.
• Analytical Capabilities on CAESAR II (5.0&5.10) version.
• Static analysis, including deadweight, multiple pressures, thermal displacements, wind loads, uniform loads, seismic conditions etc.
• Design code compliance check as per ASME B31.1, B31.3 Pumps to API 610.
• Nozzle to shell stress calculations as per WRC 107, WRC 297 and API 650. Flange Leakage calculations as per ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 1 and PSV discharge thrust calculations ,
• Engineering of piping supports, spring hangers.
• Checking vendor documents and data sheet
• Steam Duct analysis of duct from steam turbine to Air Cooled Steam Condenser in CAE PIPE 5.1.
• FEA Analysis of Header Boxes of ACHE’s in IDEAS 10NX.
