The main aim for this project was to make a CAD model of one of the shaft design problems we studied, there are three shafts, connected using a belt-pulley assembly and a coupling.

- I made the shaft design calculations based on the transmitted power mentioned in the problem

- The pulleys are keyed to transmit power and secured axially using snap rings.

- Bearings were selected based on the calculated load, bearing life was estimated using SolidWorks bearing tool and shaft diameter was modified to match the selected tolerance level. Also, the bearing were secured with the housings to prevent movement due to applied loads.

Applied Differential drive mobile robot kinematics equation to get the position and orientation of the robot and used Fuzzy Logic control to control its orientation angle, the controller is written and Python, scikit-fuzzy, simple-pid and matplotlib were used, and the simulation is made using Webots software.

Simulation of a diff-drive Fuzzy Logic controlled robot

[Tell your motor which speed you want]

I used Arduino to control a DC motor's speed, and my voice to choose the speed setpoint.
Using a simple speech recognition model, implemented in TensorFlow, and trained on the public digits speech dataset, I made a python script that records a 1 second audio clip, then predicts which digit it was, and sends the output prediction to the Arduino using ROS, the Arduino receives the integer number, and chooses from an array of setpoints based on this number :)
The Arduino will publish information on the current measured speed, PID output and current setpoint, so I can view them on my computer.

In the end of the video I used rqt_plot to plot the response of motor vs setpoint.

Varying motor speed using voice commands and PID control

As a course project guided by the course instructor at my university, I have Been working on developing a controller for the model of an active suspension system, which is shown in the figure.
I made four models utilizing PID control with the following cases
- no actuators (passive system)
- actuator between masses u and s
- actuator between masses s and b
- two actuators
+ actuator between masses u and s with Fuzzy PD control

All PID parameters were found using MathWorks #MATLAB Optimization toolbox, I used the simulating annealing algorithm to minimize the Integral Time-Weighted Absolute Error objective function ITAE : )
Fuzzy PD gains were found using a rule of thumb that relates PID controller gains to fuzzy PID gains found on MATLAB's documentation website

This guy wasted 2+ weeks of my project time. This guy DO NOT HAVE NO TIME for any such assignments. He will let you wait for days befor replying. He would tell you any excuse to delay his tasks. I have lost 2000+ usd on all this waiting. He told me multiple times what time he would be available but he never he was. He might skilled but expect things to take weeks to ge a few hours of work done.
