Website celebrating King Michael of Romania at the age of 90
Former King Michael has turned 90 on October 25th 2011. On this occasion, the former sovereign of Romania, who was forced to abdicate the throne in 1947 by a Russian-endorsed Communist government, has taken the floor for the first time in 64 years in front of Romania`s Parliament. RADOR Press Agency has dedicated a special online edition to this remarkable event and gathered news, articles from the central and foreign press on the subject, videos and last, but not least, a series of transcripts of testimonials kept in the public radio`s archives about King Michael`s life and personality in relation to the Romanian people, in the past and nowadays.
