Greetings, My name is Shanah Johnson and I am the lead writer and owner of Aura Communications. My first job straight out of high school was for a high-profile public realtions firm based in New York City. The position began my continued exposure to writing, marketing, and politics. From there I went on to study technical writing and business management. I took several jobs in finance and accounting but found myself wanting to write about what I was doing more than actually completing the task. After having my children, I decided to return to freelance writing and began to collaborate with other writers forming Aura Communications in 2007.
