Blood from Stone is a new career move by graphic artist/designer Salaam Freeland who is a very creative individual with a natural artistic flare and a keen eye for detail. Salaam will bring fresh and innovative ideas to designs that will stand out, and will cater easily to contemporary or modern standards and tastes. He mainly designs leaflets, flyers and logos for music events and continues to be involved in the music industry designing CD and vinyl covers, posters and other visual requirements, and was involved with the organisation ‘Lets Kick Racism Out Of Football’, designing posters and logos for Millwall FC, Charlton FC, and Crystal Palace FC. Between 2000 and 2003 he managed a popular page on the legendary rap group Public Enemy’s website called ‘Enemyboard Soldiers’, designing artistic representations of Internet forum members, and Public Enemy group members, using their photographs.
