P&G - Main responsibilities and activities:
§ Relationship management with distributors (NELT, Nelt ST, Neregelia) and modern trade customers in Balkans (Serbia/Macedonia/Montenegro);
§ Supervising distributor’s people (in three markets) on replenishment process for more than 1300 SKUs (ordering, importing) and providing support/coaching for new hires and ongoing for current members of the team;
§ Leading Sales plan meeting for Serbia/Macedonia/Montenegro where sales targets are put in place for Sales force in Serbia/Macedonia/Montenegro (together with P&G DM, Finance, Sales and Marketing Managers); These inputs are critical info for sales to trade forecast generation in these markets and shipment forecast from P&G to distributors;
§ Leading Distributors Team on inventory reduction projects (in Bosnia and Macedonia) by maintaining service level (CFR – Case Fill Rate) at targeted level +97%;
§ Leading distributors team in Truck fill rate improvements projects from P&G plants/DCs to distributor warehouses (TMS – Load Builder implementation);
§ Distributor’s logistics cost budgeting (together with Finance department);
§ Introduction and tracking of T&W (Transportation & Warehousing) KPIs in order to improve performance and decrease logistic costs;
§ NPI (Non-Performing Inventory) Management and close work with headquarters people from different functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance etc) on “smaller” NPI exhaustion projects;
§ Providing support in different types of (ad hoc) issues during the products flow from plant to consumers in terms of required documentation, compliance with current legislations etc;
§ Close work with other functions (GM, Sales, Finance, Marketing) on different types of issues, as part of P&G Multifunctional Team;
§ Acting as interviewer during hiring process for P&G (interviewed more than 20 candidates so far);
P&G - Main projects:
§ CEEMEA Pilot project with distributor - WPI (Work Process Improvements) methodology implementation – the methodology is about mapping distributors processes and elimination non-value added activities where we initiated work to explore potential costs saving projects for to distributors distribution centers (DCs) – in process;
§ Distributor Portal implementation for Balkans - Key User/Admin; this project enables sharing of various data from P&G to distributors through Web portal – Feb, ’11;
§ Introduction of Service as Measured by Customer/Distributor – as a new KPI in P&G supply chain, achieving 100% compliance with P&G Service level measure from the beginning, making P&G Supplier of choice to our customers/distributors – Jul, ’10;
§ Global Pilot project – Implementation of Global Non Performing Inventory (NPI) Solution in Bosnia – which enables systemic visibility of distributors NPI in P&G systems – this was an upgrade of distributor inventory project – May, ’10;
§ CEEMEA Pilot project – Distributor inventory project (DI CFR) – which enables visibility of distributor’s inventory in P&G systems, which enables much better planning/forecast accuracy for shipments from P&G to distributors. I am also a Key user for Balkans for these systems, Apr, ’10;
§ Global Pilot project - Slip sheet implementation in Bosnia – which enables P&G to ship all F&HC products from Timisoara plant on cartoon slip sheets instead of wooden pallets – this was the best innovation in physical distribution on CEEMEA level in FY 0910. Total savings for Bosnia was 90k USD in first year and approx. 130k USD in the following years. Additionally, P&G started with reapplication of the model across Balkans and for all shipments of detergents from Timisoara plant in Romania to Turkey – Mar, ’10;
§ Balkans Pilot project – Load Builder implementation in Bosnia (together with Bulgaria) which enables P&G to ship 40+ pallets/truck on Beauty portfolio instead of 33 pallets before. The final result is 240k USD ongoing on yearly basis for Bosnia, Macedonia and Delta customer in Serbia – Jan ’10;
§ Cash Cycle project with Delta Maxi customer - optimization of Delta’s order/shipping/billing process the help them better manage their inventory which resulted in better cash flow management and pay-score reduction from >30 days to 0 days. The final result was that P&G shares in Delta increased and reached national P&G shares on shelves – Dec 09;
§ Develop a model for measuring statistical Shelf OOS for modern retailers where sell out data are available. This was a base for action planning which resulted in Shelf OOS decrease in Delta from >20% to < 5% – Nov, ’09;
§ Moving the biggest Serbian customer (Delta Maxi) to Direct shipments model of supply from P&G plants, using non-standard P&G supply model- Nov ‘08 ;
§ Supply model change in Bosnia by moving three branches to X-dock which resulted in improved service level (lower OOS; 1% higher sales), reduced inventory (from 28.9 days to 23.2, releasing 900k USD in cash flow) and overall logistics costs decrease (15k USD ongoing on yearly basis) – FY 0910;
§ Introduction of daily ordering practices for Distributors in Bosnia & Macedonia – as a result Bosnia decreased inventory from 37.3 days on hand (DOH) to 28.9 DOH, releasing 1.7 million USD in distributors working capital and decreasing overall storage costs for 45k USD ongoing on yearly basis; in Macedonia decrease was from 51.1 to 32.5, releasing 1.1 million USD of working capital and storage savings of 29k USD ongoing on yearly basis – FY 0809;
§ Introduction of web-ordering system at Distributor in Serbia (from Distributor to trade);
§ Creation and implementation of CFR by brand report and robust root cause analysis which was re-implemented across Balkan markets;
§ Modification of existing tool which enables faster reaction time during replenishment process for distributors in cases of big over-shipments;
International Service Check (mystery shopping services provider): supervising of executed checks for main global client McDonald’s; creating final reports (evaluations) for Central and Southeast European markets for different clients; translations English to Serbian and reverse, etc;
Pediment (Consulting Company): IFC financed project – “Technical assistance to small plastics recycling company” - reconstruction of Profit and Loss account; Cash Flow analysis; Financial modeling; creation of the financial part of Business plan for the company, etc;
Citadel Financial Advisory (Investment Bank): market research studies (for confectionary industry, banking industry, etc); financial modeling, prepared comparative analysis of pharmaceutical industry in the SEE region, etc;
Larive Serbia (Business Development Services): organizing the visit of Dutch Trade Delegation in June, ‘05; Preliminary sector screening; understanding of the client’s strategic approach; identification of Serbian companies interested in cooperation, etc;
World Bank – IFC – SEED: market research studies; analysis of internal accounting system between sections in the company of our client; allocation of fix and variable expenses with compensation deals and without it in the wholesale and retail part of the company; analysis of financial statements; develop, evaluate and conduct studies to assess and analyze the current as well as potential situation/conditions regarding different projects, etc
