• A total of more than 5 years experience as an Engineer with focus on Chemical and Automation and Process Control Engineering, details as follows: three years experience as a Technical Support Engineer for DeltaV and Compliance Suite Systems (Emerson Process Management- Fisher-Rosemount Systems Inc.); and more than 2 years experience as a Chemist and QC Engineer in a Petrochemical Plant (Philippine Resins Industries Inc.). • Involved in the setup, iFAT, IFAT, and FAT of the QatarGas (2 and 3&4) onshore and offshore projects. Duties mainly involve setup and configuration of the DeltaV servers and workstations; static and dynamic checking of the control strategy/configuration and graphics; configuration of the various networks (Plant Information Network, Operator Station Network, Process Control Network, etc.); MIMIC setup and troubleshooting; DeltaV systems’ setup and troubleshooting; OPC setup and troubleshooting, others. • Effectively provided DeltaV technical support for worldwide end-user customers and Local Business Partners or Field Service Offices (LBPs/FSOs) – this includes analysis and troubleshooting of hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration, and application issues of DeltaV systems. • Knowledgeable in the following product lines: DeltaV Configuration Database (Objectivity); OSIsoft Pi Historian; OPC Technology specifically OPC Mirror and DeltaV OPC Servers; DeltaV Continuous Historian; DeltaV System Upgrades; PlantWide Event Historian (PEH); networking; configuration of routers and switches; etc. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (obtained an overall IELTS score of 8.5). • Proficient in Windows Office (2003 & 2007) applications – Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio – in any OS (Win 95, Win 98, Win 2000, Win XP Pro, Win Server 2003, and Win Vista). • Able to implement and support Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and energetic; able to prioritize effectively to accomplish multiple tasks and complete projects under pressure. • Able to work in a team environment, can also work independently as the need arises. • Able to acquire new technical skills easily. • Adaptable and dependable, analytical thinker who loves learning. • Applies scientific/technical/logical thinking to identify, analyze, and solve challenges and/or problems; to collect data, establish facts, connect abstract and concrete variables, draw valid conclusions, determine appropriate action, and devise strategies and systems to achieve objectives.
