Logo/Crest design for new startup rugby club.
Hallamshire RUFC was formed in 2012 by player seeking something different from rugby in Sheffield, UK. I was approached to design a club crest for the team which would stand out from existing clubs while drawing on the rich history of the area. The final chosen design came from adaptation of a local shield to incorporate the I beam steel girders, Yorkshire rose and the XV synonymous with rugby union. The crest has been used on the club's website, kit and promotional materials. I have supplied the club with vector, jpg and various other formats of the logo to use as they see fit.
About Me
I've been working with some of the most creative people for the last 8 years, teaching them, supporting their projects and developing my own skillset to stay one step ahead. Recently i realised that the skills i have are useful to others and allow me to create Elements of Surprise. So if you want a short promotional film making I'll sit you down, brainstorm ideas, and work with you to create an end product that you're happy with. If you want a piece of design I'll ask you what you like, what you want it to do and what you want to avoid before putting pencil to paper. I like working with people, not for them, this venture is about enjoying being creative and helping people along the way to grow the organisation that they feel passionate about.
