Noyontara Comes to Grips with Struggles of Life

In September 2008, flood washed away many houses and rendered thousands of people homeless in northern parts of Bangladesh. Immediately after the flood hit major localities many humanitarian organizations started pouring in aid and relief. I was there to report on the situation and the relief response, interviewing the affected people and taking photographs.

Major responsibilities: - Assist in the management of outreach programs and the administrate projects (including grants). - Plan and organize Speakers and Specialist programs and cultural presentations as assigned, develop the programs and coordinate the logistical details with co-sponsoring institutions. - Manage outreach programs, identify appropriate venues, publicize events and arrange for logistical support. - Work with selected institutions to develop grant proposals and coordinate logistics.
