Melissa O.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Jersey, I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Jersey City University in 2006. After graduation I freelanced for a photographer and soon after relocated back to New York to work for Symphony Designs in Westbury where I learned more about the fashion industry and the process of textile design. Since then I have freelanced for numerous companies and clients within the New York area. Since 2008 I have worked for Petite Picasso doing book design, where preserving children's artwork is its main focus. In 2010, I wrote for [login to view URL] and had several columns ranging from history and healthy living to diy design. I have also been part of the Demand Studios team. I am the owner of Gray Star Design, where I offer interior and event design services as well as custom stationary items such as wedding invites and more. I have years of experience in the field and have worked with many clients such as DaVinci Roofscapes, Sensational Color, The Better Body Cleanse, and Spectrahue in Canada. I can design just about anything you need and with my eye for layout, technical skills and writing talent, I have a lot more to offer than most designers.
