This project deals with redesigning the disc brake of Honda CB1000R motorbike. The innovation lies in the way the calipers are attached to grip the disc. In conventional design, the disc is attached to the wheel hub and caliper grips the disc from its outside. In current design, the disc is larger in size and attached to the rim of the wheel, giving a larger force arm and easier and more efficient braking system.
