AREA OF OPERATIONS Þ Finance • Overseeing financial & budgetary planning, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. • Key member of Management Team responsible for preparing yearly Business Plan. • Reviewing, analyzing and highlighting actual or anticipated variances from budget. • Relationship Management with Banks & Financial Institutions for negotiating term loan, L.C.’s & working capital arrangement. • Good Exposure to import of capital goods. • Streamlining Fund Management by ensuring financial discipline & better utilization of resources. • Monthly MIS Reporting & Internal MIS for Senior Management. Þ Accounts • Maintaining books of accounts including preparation of Balance Sheet for the company with due compliance of accounting standards. • Implementing the system of accounts to finalization of accounts as per the statutory requirements. • Conducting Internal/ Statutory audits for various financial institutions and corporate and finalization of accounts within time bound schedules. • Experience in preparation & analysis of financial statements, budgets, and funds management, conducting variance analysis and building internal financial controls. • Generating monthly Performance Reports of various departments, particularly, Head Office, Imprest and regional budgetary variances to determine the bottom line profitability. Þ Taxation/ Compliance • Ensuring compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory requirements like, Sales Tax, Excise and submission of Income tax returns. • Exposure to assessment and filing of Income Tax Returns, Service Tax & Sales Tax including advance tax planning. Þ Audit / MIS • Compliance for Statutory, tax and internal audits. • Review of Audit Reports and quantification of risk involved and its financial implications. • Experience in Revenue & Concurrent Audit of nationalized banks and company audits during Articleship Training. • Implementation of Internal Control system and reviewing the same at regular interval to identify and rectify the deviations. Þ Team Management • A Team leader with motivational skills and organizational skills for achieving targets as per deadlines and schedules. • Strength in analytical approach and practical orientation for trouble shooting. • Ability to multi-task and coordinate with cross functional teams and adaptable to new environment and work culture.
