Regius X Corset Top
An interpretation of a Goliathus regius beetle placed on the body as if it were the size of a human. Original design printed on silk organza. In order to emphasize the round shape of the beetle at the shoulders, I chose to minimize the waist with an attached corset. Keyhole back- snap closure at back neck, hook and eye center back corset closure. Other details: Round shape corset hem. Mid length dolman sleeve, sewn in shape of bug print at sleeve hem.
