Simple backup application in C#
It has the ability to remember "backup items" which consist of a source and a target folder. Each item is saved as a file with the source folder name in a sub-folder called "backupItems", so the backup items can be easily removed, even outside the application. The "Analyze" button checks for changed, non-existing and wrong files in the target folder. After analyzing, the free target disk space is displayed and the synchronize button is enabled. The synchronize button starts 3 seperate threads that apply all the changes needed. While synchronizing, icons of the current "task-type" are jumping from left to right through the window. There are 4 lines with icons in front of them, these are from top to bottom: 1: The total amount of files involved with this backup item 2: New files, not existing in the target folder 3: Files not existing in the source folder 4: Files changed since last backup
