This project is based in Abersoch,North Wales and its a holiday home for the Hicks family.Its a 70's style 3 bedroom room bungalow which needed some minor work to upgrade the spaces.The 3rd bedroom was only small and there was a office/store room which was knocked into the 3rd bedroom to make a larger space.The windows was replaced and sliding doors added.The original design was to have glass running around the exterior walls but planners would not allow for the building to be changed that much to effect the natural area. Every room in the house was redesigned and decorated to a high standard throughout.I was involved in all aspects of the design even down to picking new furniture for the spaces. The extension would mostly be made from wood reducing building costs and the roof would be a green roof helping to keep the extension room in the winter.There would be a glass link to the rear of the property plus a glass cut through the ceiling in the office space.

The extension would mostly be made from wood reducing building costs and the roof would be a green roof helping to keep the extension room in the winter.There would be a glass link to the rear of the property plus a glass cut through the ceiling in the office space.
