Envelope Printing - Live PDF Preview
This screen lets customers add text and icons to the exterior of an envelope for a mailing order. They have the ability to select a templated style, or design something complete custom. As they make changes to any of the controls, the preview will be refreshed in the background via an asynchronous AJAX call. The preview shows the actual PDF file that will be used for printing.
About Me
I recently left a job with a major multinational corporation in favor of a more exciting and flexible position at a small fast-growing company. My current employer uses the LAMP suite of technologies: Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. It requires heavy use Javascript and jQuery. I use ZendStudio for development, and I've chosen to implement the CodeIgniter MVC framework. Being a small company, I fulfill the roles of web designer, software developer. and database administrator, so I'm well versed in all three areas. My previous position used the .NET framework (C# and VB.NET) to develop web apps for distribution via our corporate intranet, with ASP.NET-generated DHTML on the frontend and MS-SQL on the backend.
