While working at Uniqa, the majority of my tasks consisted of maintaining the DMS WebClient, a project created using GWT and Java/JEE. Besides bug fixing and small enhancements I had the chance to implement new services with JEE and to shine with my JavaScript skills. Rewriting some of the components to improve the structure and architecture has helped me to get familiar with GWT/SmartGWT and with the MVP architecture.

As a member of a completely new development team I had the opportunity to participate in the takeover of the company's most important project and in its further development using the latest methodologies, such as Scrum and pair programming. My responsibilities on this project were back-end (Ruby) and front-end (JavaScript, CSS, HAML, jQuery) development.
