Over the last seven years, I have been involved in developing software. I have developed various software which include: School Management System, Hospital Management System, Manufacturing Management System, National Honors and Awards MIS among others. I have been involved in setting up of SharePoint in organizations and also developing applications that are hosted on SharePoint for various business processes including Contracts Management System, Risk Management System, Data Request Application, Photo Competition Application among others. Currently am working with Voluntary Services Overseas, United Kingdom as a SharePoint Technical Lead where I am leading the restructuring of sites to make use of Office365 new developments such as Hubsites, Document Sets, Office365 groups among others. I am also working and administrating on tools such as Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms among others. I have a very good background on MSSQL Server Development and Administration, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET MVC Core, Entity Framework, AngularJs, Angular Applications among others. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Information Technology.

The Task a management system is an app that I built on top of SharePoint which is used for controlling the process by which requests come in and are assigned and finally worked on. It uses Microsoft Flow to automatically assign a Task to a user depending on several conditions.

In the year 2019, I was involved in a project for restructuring the SharePoint 2016 platform for a Kenya Government Agency. I was able to make the main site intuitive and also provisioned departmental sites for the whole organisation. I was able to do some custom work using SharePoint designer. I created a new Master Page, created new Page Layouts and also created web parts that I loaded on the intranet's home page. I also created a task management application that managed the process of task allocation within the organization.

In the year 2019, while working for a Government agency, I developed a National Honors and Award Management Information System that is used by the Kenyan Government to collect nominees for various national honors and award the individuals during presidential ceremonies. The system had several processes mapped which included, a nomination form that is to be submitted from various Government agencies, proof-reading process that is done by the cabinet affairs committee, an approval level that included three vetting levels, award certificates printing, invitation letters printing, roll of honor, administration management among others. The system was used to do the Government of Kenya national honors for December 2019 and is still in use. I used ASP.NET MVC and MSSQL SERVER 2014 to do development, testing and hosting of the application.
