• Ensure payment collections from insurance carriers for Medicare, Medicaid and MC+ products; accounts receivable portfolio varied from $1.5 million to $300 million. • Make inquiries by phone regarding past-due accounts, insurance guidelines and research incorrect addresses. • Prepare reports to identify and resolve accounts receivable and referral issues. • Identify problem accounts with payers; investigate and correct errors, follow-up on missing account information, while seeking resolution of aged accounts receivable. • Reconcile, post data; verify and perform mathematical computational analysis necessary to maintain and support the integrity of the accounts receivable. • Compose routine correspondences, memos, and business letters for internal and external usage. • Prepare and provide supporting documentation for aged receivables: medical reviews and/or appeals, policy and procedure disputes, and claims denial.
