Immigrated to the US from Argentina; my first job was delivering newspapers door to door at the age of 12. At 14 I operated a record and electronic equipment shop. Later, at 15 I worked in a cleaning store as a manager with full responsibilities. Graduated from Newtown High School in Queens, New York, due to anti-war activities and other extracurricular work I had to make a pit stop at a two year college, get on the dean’s list at Queensborough Community College before moving on to New York University. Along with my high school and college studies I worked for the Red Cross as a volunteer and assistant director of a youth center. Facilitated group therapy sessions for about 3,000 hours. Worked with teens to keep them on the straight and narrow, teaching them to focus, get good grades and keep off alcohol and other drugs. After being accepted to study business at NYU, I got some bad advice and left college to sell life insurance. The guy that gave me the advice earned a couple of hundred dollars for his efforts to recruit me to sell life and health insurance. I sold over a million dollars cold canvassing and telemarketing in one year. Got into management and then went into the garment business as part owner of a firm selling ladies and men’s underwear and swimwear; introduced down coats, jackets and jumpsuits from Sweden to firms such as Fiorucci’s, Bloomingdales, Macy’s and many others. My partner was disingenuous and we broke up that relationship so from there I went into the yellow medallion taxi business in New York City for about a year and a half. Dangerous conditions convinced me to get out and I got into the credit and collections business. Eventually began collecting unpaid accounts receivable billings for major law firms, banks and businesses, including Olympia & York Properties the largest landlord in New York at that time. Did that for over ten years and decided that technology was my thing. Created Real Time, LLC in May of 2003 as a successor firm to Credit Resolution, the collection agency, which was featured in a two page story in Newsday, was quoted by the Wall Street Journal, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Kiplinger Newsletter and more national publications. Sadly two employees robbed us of our backup tape and went about the country on our air fare building their own collections business. Such is life. Real Time pioneered IT brokerage offering best of breed technology products and services, at the best price, guaranteed... to businesses large and small. Only top rated and unique IT solutions are brought to you for review. It is a one of a kind patented search appliance for the desktop.
