Where I am now in life can be a great thing! I am entering my own second season, a second blossoming, so to speak. A time to draw from the lessons learned and the wisdom of the years, a time to turn to the creativity and the gifts I have often overlooked and a time to stand back, think, and to gratefully appreciate everything I have been blessed with. I take pleasure in a life of simplicity with emphasis on faith, family, and friendships. I have a college education in Psychology and I have completed a Medical Transcription course at MTC Academy Davao. I am fortunate to have discovered transcription as a second career not only for the financial compensation it offers but also for its emotional and intellectual rewards. The varied learning experiences that I have gained through my exposure to different types of transcription have enriched my life and have given me great enjoyment. With pride, I can say that I can accomplish a given workload and volume at the end of the day with a high level of productivity and effectiveness at over 800 lines per day with about 98% accuracy. In addition to good research and computer skills, an excellent command of the English language, a committed and disciplined attitude towards "work," I have always had a passion for "words" and learning which make transcribing something that I love to do. Aside from a reliable internet connection, I also use a foot pedal for fast and easy transcription. I adhere to the TEP process which means transcribe, edit and proofread to be able to produce accurate and quality transcripts. I have been exposed to different medical transcription files mainly orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, psychiatry , and radiology with worktypes to include history and physical and discharge summary notes. My legal and general transcription experience include trial proceedings, oral arguments, interviews for insurance companies, conferences, seminars, earnings calls, interviews, podcasts, radio shows, and sermons. I do not hesitate to go the extra mile to meet my client's expectations and needs. Information will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.
