I have been working in the jewelry business in 8 years. My responsibilities jewelry designer CAD/ CAM include the development of three-dimensional models of jewelry designs (.3dm-, .3ds- formats), provided in compliance with all technical Jewelry standards to make models, photorealistic renders production (.jpeg-, .bmp-, .png(without background)- formats), rotation animation of models (.swf-, .avi-, .mp4- formats), models, ready for prototyping (.stl-, .mgx- formats). I'm working on the modern jewelry design technology with the latest versions of software jewelry (Gemvision Matrix, RhinoCeros, 3ds Max, Maya 2011, Claytrix, Magics, PhotoShop), and also have experience in working with specialized equipment (SolidScape systems, DigitalWAX systems, Phantom OMNI devices).
