DETAILED RESUME I was graduated from Bogazici university Industrial Engineering Department in February of 2005. I had an advanced level of English.I got 80 points from the Bogazici University English Profiency Examination in addition to that I was ranked as 7 among 300 people in one of the English Profiency Examinations organized by one of the biggest,leader turkish far I have lots of translation experiences in professional level related to the issues of engineering,psychology,economics adn chemistry.I had a score of 286 points in Computer Based TOEFL Examination. My first work experience was the full time business analyst position in Prime Capital Consulting Group, whose origin comes from Mc. Kinsey Consulting, between the dates of 04.02.2005 and 02.05.2005. During this time, I participated in two projects. One of them was conducted for the leader company of Turkish health sector which had approximately 150 million dolars yearly net revenue. I performed performance evaulations on the basis of medical services and other management disiplines. Also all of the processes in the hospitals were revised as a result the drawbacks of the existing system could be dedicated and necessary treatments for the existing system were achieved. Second one was related with a foreign investment for a leader company in Turkish FMCG sector. I achieved financial analysis in addition to preparing financial models by using Excel and Visual Basic. I worked with the foreign investors named as Lehman Brothers from United Kingdom. My second work experience is the full time position in Production Planning, Controland Logistics Department of Delphi Automotive Systems, 0stanbul Plant. The plant is mainly working for Ford Otosan, Ford Southemptan UK and the other tier companies of Ford ie. Visteon, Antolin, Bowden, Linex. Also the company has two difeerent plants in Bursa and 0zmir whose capacities and working structures are determined according to the high runners of the automotive sector like Volvo, Renault, Audi, Ford, Land Rover...etc. I worked in this position between the dates 09.05.2005 – 06.01.2005. The main tasks of the position are to receive weekly schedules, according to these schedules to prepare daily orders and shipment plans - to arrange daily trucks, to determine truck combination so as to increase volume utilization-. In addition to that, to follow the daily shortage reports and organize the production in order to make the critical short part in the customer plant on time. Meanwhile I was responsible for the preparation of factory occupation and capacity allocation plan. The harnesses - electric wiring systems, end products - are classified in family basis according to the places they are used in a car and their production processes. Capacity calculations and layout structure are determined related with the demanded quantities of each harness family. Through occupation plan, weekly operator allocation is performed. I worked closely especially with foreign manufacturing plants like Delphi Southemptan, Ford Southempton and Ford Dagenham in order to resolve customer concerns, agreeing necessary containtment and corrective actions. Especially I had an important enhancement in my on time response and communication ability. For the alert times, I organized the necessary departmants –production department, quality control department and material planning department - in order to perform a successfull shipment with no quality problem and customer unsatisfaction. For Delphi Automotive Systems customer satisfaction is the main purpose of company. I created a tool by utilizing Visual Basic in Excel which calculates the amount of orders and order dates of the containers during the time I worked for Delphi. The payment for the rent of containers is done on the basis of product days (unit product * spent day in our plant) so the aim of the macro is to approximate the stock level to the desired one and to determine the order days by considering transit lead time of the seller company by this way to minimize the rent cost. I completed my first internship in Distributed Systems Management Department of Yapi Kredi Teknoloji. During this internship, I obtained an excellent understanding of networks and operating systems. I was responsible for dealing with Windows NT Network. Second internship was about production planning in Kordsa. I maintained records about breakdown durations and frequencies of machines in addition to calculation of utilization ratios special for each dtex -different combinations and designs of machines for different Nylon 6.6 yarn types- by using Excel efficiently. Meanwhile I performed transportation of data through SAP/R3. My third internship was achieved in Yucel Boru. I was responsible for calculation of utilization ratios concerning punching machines; I saved data for foreign and local orders and performed necessary calculations for production by using this data. My last internship was in Prime Consulting Group. I conducted a project aiming to detect the type of target potential customers of banks in addition to the determination of banks status according to their performance in marketing their products / services and their efficiency, profitability ratios. In spring 2004, I - a team of four members - contributed a project -graduation project- focusing on optimization of detail picking operation in L’Oreal Hadimkoy Distribution Center. This project includes calculation of optimum box sizes, which decreases replenishment frequency; determination of optimum locations for different product groups, which minimizes total traveling distances and order picking times. I mainly utilized from Excel. By programming in Visual Basic, I acquired a versatile tool based on Excel Macros. In spring 2003, I participated in a feasibility analysis project, which was conducted about soap sector. I performed cost analysis, preparation of detailed balance sheet and income statement by utilizing Excel. I believe that with this project, I was very well experienced about performing all aspects of a major project under extremely short deadlines. Because, I had to prepare comprehensive reports for every week including researches about soap sector and I had to revise all calculations according to newly obtained data for these reports. I am extremely comfortable working independently or as part of a team and I am highly motivated to provide an excellent product on time and under hard conditions. My mathematical skills are excellent and I am very conscientious about meeting deadlines and completing tasks unsupervised. If given the opportunity to accomplish an assignment, I can develop a plan that will meet the needs of the project. I have a customer focused approach and the flexibility inaddition to ability of responding to the operational, management and customer demands with a mix of good interpersonal, advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
