Talking Binary
Talking Binary is a collaboration between myself and Ray Uptown from California and formed the first release on my imprint, 'Adapt'. With myself writing the music and Ray recording the vocals in his studio in LA, we were able to use file transfer sites to pass the various stems to one another via the internet. Once we were happy, I mixed the track down myself at my own home studio. I then mastered the track using various professional techniques and tools. The process probably took us about two weeks total. I then created a video for YouTube, using stock footage I had collected from the internet. This helped push our identity to our consumers and help build our web presence. I formed a relationship with digital distribution service, 'Believe Digital' , who now distribute our product to the major music sites such as ITunes, Beatport, Amazon and more. I created a web page using Wordpress as the engine. Using Photoshop and art I collected, I was able to form a strong web ID.
About Me
I'm a multi talented creative, with many years working as a music producer. I've had work featured on some of the top underground record labels, as well as travelling the world performing my music. As well as running my own record label, I am now keen to explore other aspects of my craft, particularly scoring and sound design for the game industry. While working within the music industry, I have picked up notable skills within social media, merchandising and marketing. I am also a keen writer and lover of the arts in general. I also am very interested in the game industry, having owned most computers and consoles since the days of the Vic 20.
