I am a developer with over 2 decades experience in industry. I started from the good old days of ColdFusion and within the last three years, I have transitioned successfully in to coding with both straight PHP (connecting with PDO to a MySQL database, using all programming structures) and with the Laravel framework (use of the PHP artisan commands to generate controllers, database migrations and models, eloquent ORM). I have: - A strong knowledge of front end development (HTML5, jQuery, vue.js) - Database development (SQL on MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle databases) - Agile development practices (Sprint planning sessions, task estimation, managing tasks with JIRA) - Strong version control using Git and SourceTree - Strong Unit Testing experience as an ISTQB qualified Tester - Strong experience with working alongsie Architects, Testers and Business Analysts - Experience of producing the relevant technical documentation - A determined, hardworking and dedicated personality.
