Inventory Management
This workbook was developed for a non-profit. I volunteer on the Athletic Board at my daughter's high school. They had a need for an Excel based workbook that could manage inventory. There was no budget for a package. Knowing that many systems lock down on security, VBA or macros were out of the question. This workbook uses advanced methods to provide a cradle to grave inventory management system using core Excel features. Reporting is through Pivot Tables, including calculated fields within the report.
About Me
My career has spanned multiple disciplines, originating in a desire to establish myself in a creative career. I am both a classically trained trumpet player, and an accomplished photographer. Early on, my path switched to Information Technology (IT) out of financial necessity. I have accepted more and more responsibility throughout my career, with my most recent assignment as a Project Manager. Throughout my career, I have worked with the Microsoft suite, and have found actual enjoyment, a passion and a genuine skill for creating Excel based solutions. My creative side allows for pleasing front ends, and my IT background delivers solid backends to meet the needs of the project.
