Personally: I work with the mindset of creating win-win solutions. I enjoy diversity and conflict because I have methods that capitalize on that energy and turns it into a positive outcome that surpasses the 'normal' solutions. I am well-educated in a vast array of areas from hot air balloons, building sprint car motors and being on a pit crew (open wheel race cars) to writing academic-oriented articles or books. I played semi-pro softball and volleyball. I also played basketball. I enjoy competing against myself and reaching goals others might be intimidated by and not attempt. I love animals and have a lot of knowledge about them. Professionally: I am both an independent and team-oriented worker, depending on the scenario. I have been fortunate to secure positions or contracts that allowed me to work with a wide variety of people addressing a wide variety of issues. I was extremely fortunate to be able to learn the Synectics Creative Problem Solving Model utilized by Rand Corporation in my mid twenties when working with the United States Department of Education through a grant provided to Adelphi University. This model requires the interaction between left brain and right brain activity. As a result, I have a very strong corpus-collosum. This connects the left and right cerebral hemispheres and facilitates inter-hemispheric communication resulting in what I have come to term as a logically creative problem solving ability that I possess. This allows me to take very abstract concepts and create concrete content to make it easier for the learner to understand. I have assisted individuals with a passion in establishing a program/agency by leading them through the development stages, filling all legal documentation out for them, assisting them in establishing their infrastructure, assist in the development of the marketing materials and connected them to appropriate networking circles. I LOVE to do 2 things: the first has anything to do with English/writing/proofreading, etc. because it gives me an opportunity to learn new information and the second is figuring out puzzles of all sorts: people, systems, organizations, etc.
