Discussing on the 5 points: 1) Functionality Testing 2) Usability testing 3) Interface testing 4) Compatibility testing 5) Performance testing 6) Security testing The above testing types are followed for testing a website. The test plan includes the above testing techniques of the entire flow which you have mentioned in point 6. 1) I would start with the preparation baseline scripts of the application followed by the baseline execution. This certainly helps the tester to understand the website completely. 2) The next process is to prepare test scenarios and test cases based on the modules for different phases of execution like Smoke testing, regression testing, sanity testing(Testing important modules), End to end testing, Ad-Hoc(Out of box) testing. 3)During logging the defects we include "steps to reproduce" so that would help the developers to identify the issue and re-create them. 4)We perform Ad-hoc , Exploratory testing which really doesn't follow any test plan. As we say it is an Out of box testing. 5. I have strong in communication skills and will prove myself if we can have an interview. As I am new,I am looking forward to prove myself.
