RentalCars.com
As one of the worlds largest e-commerce website around, working with RentalCars.com (Travel Jigsaw LTD) has been a fantastic experience. I worked primarily with the back-end web application which utilised my Java, SQL and hibernate skills while regularly coding front end aspects too which involved heavy HTML, CSS and JS/JQuery programming within JSP's that serve the dynamic content to the users using an A/B testing framework. The web application used for this site is very intensive and a vast amount of skills are used throughout, requiring myself to be adaptable and efficient at any given task. I would work as part of a team or entirely on my own, depending on the size of the project I am undergoing. The tight deadlines result in a very efficient mindset when taking on new tasks. While delegating work to the team of 4 developers on my department, I would also have to able to self manage my own workload in order to me able to produce the code within the given time frame.
About Me

Trusted and respected by both IT and non-IT colleagues due to a professional approach and excellent product knowledge. As a very committed individual I would relish the opportunity to utilise my skills and abilities developed from a variety of different areas in a challenging role in order to contribute towards meeting the company's long-term and short-term aims and objectives.
