Software engineering and web-development always fascinated me and still does today. From simple websites in the nineties to complex web-applications we see today. It's a rapidly changing world which I follow very closely. I'm always learning new languages or technologies and tend to utilise them in my future projects, where possible. Also new platforms like Android or iOS have caught my attention. I've been following the development of Android from day one and professionally been writing mobile apps for over 3 years. But besides the new hype revolving those revolutionary mobile devices, I strongly believe in web-development. Native applications will still have an important role to play in the future of mobile development, but when even more capable browsers will be available, a good mobile website will do just fine for the majority.
