Left my lucrative bank job and jumped straight into freelance writing. Why? There are two words for answer: Expression and Freedom. I have been into freelance writing for a while now with my first job dating back to May 2008. Ever since then, I have been writing because that is what I love to do. I have previously worked on Rent-a-coder (later changed to VWorker and then merged with Freelancer) and Elance. I am from India...I am not a native speaker of English but I have a pretty good grasp on this language which helped me to survive in this extremely competitive market for 7 long years!
