About Me
I am a singer-songwriter who composes, records and produces music. I play a variety of instruments including the piano, keyboards, guitar and bass. I am skilled in utilising technology during the recording process and have an excellent knowledge and experience with audio editing, sequencing, MIDI, VST instruments and effects processing. Please listen to some of my work at; [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Being self taught I have learnt to play music often by ear, but also have an excellent knowledge of playing styles, rhythms and aural textures. I did not learn the piano through sight reading sheet music, instead I used a method of learning chords and playing by ear as a basis for playing and composing. I am also an accomplished performer having played both in a solo capacity both singing and playing instruments and as part of a band. I have played in variety of venues from large outdoor events to bars and music venues. Among these I have played at Hylands Park in Chelmsford in the UK and at The Barhouse for NME (New Musical Express) magazine showcase nights where we appeared on the BBC television programme 'Undercover Princess'.
