Universal Ummah
Universal Ummah is a globally-based, Islamic foundation whose mission is to find common ground between disparate Muslim groups separated by ideology and geography. The client asked for a web site that presented their Islamic ideals elegantly and efficiently within a content management system with video/audio presentations. They also requested geo-location for branch offices, displayed within a Google Maps interface. Songswift also created a secure author-contribution and editing system whereby each author is provided a GUI/WYSIWYG interface for accessing and editing all site content, based upon tiered administration privileges assigned by site administrators. This enabled the organization to receive, edit and publish site content via the web site from authors and editors spread out over many different regions.
