This project uses in larger scale database engines like Borland Database Engine to read commercial information about map, uses Spatial Database Engine to read geographic data. DAO to access mapping between Paradox and S57 (International Hydrographical Organization) standards for geographic objects. System Description: The various modules addressed by the application are • Cart Library Module: This is a static library developed to handle container classes to store information about the end product cartridge. • Map Library Module: This is a static library developed to handle geo data stored inside each map. • NvBackward Library Module: This is a static library developed to introduce compatibility in data representation between Paradox and Oracle databases. • Gia Library Module: This static library is developed to introduce Geo Impact Analysis in data presentation as per geo coordinates. The NV2 File consists of Geo spatial information of a particular location in sea, which is helpful for the Navigator to safely navigate in the Sea. The NV2 file is built from the GeoDB (database) using ArcSDE. After performing all the validations, the NV2 file can be viewed in the Device G11KSP Viewer or Plotter. The CV Tool uses the GP2Chart Library to read & write the NV2 Format files. First this Tool takes the NV2 file as input and reads the spatial data Tile by Tile to perform the validations. This tool performs typical Validations like: • Wrong Depth Areas • Hanging Annotations • Patches & Overlaps of Group-I Features • Obstructions on Land area • SLCONs on Land Area • Annota Overlapping • Navaids On Land Area All the Spatial Feature objects in this process follows S57 (International Hydrographic Organization) standards.
