I was part of a team of eight whom where responsible for creating the support structure for the introduction of Linux into the company’s IT configuration. As part of the project, I developed a timed root access application to allow a more thorough system audit, researched encrypted centralized logging, wrote firewall configurations and developed the procedure for imaging and deploying Linux servers. Helpdesk employee (part time) UW-Eau Claire January 2003 – September 2004 I was employed to answer phone calls about computer related problems and assist the user in resolving it over the phone. If the problem could not be resolved over the phone, it was my responsibility to then assign the call to the correct department for an on site visit.
