I Vinod Wakkchare is a well known fashion photographer based in Mumbai / India. Looking for an opportunity to relocate to explore/be a part of the different countries fashion world !!! The very first time, I saw the world through a lens; it ignited a never-ending love affair with photography. Largely self taught, my first approbation in this realm came when I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Atul Kasbekar, with whom I acquired a rigorous formal training, increasing my proficiency and enabling me to hone my skill and eventually, fly solo. I enjoy shooting. Itâ??s the whole experience that is so fun and new every day, that makes the monetary gain secondary. Shooting is more of a mental satisfaction for me and creating an image is like delivering a baby! Its deep, frantic process with lots of hard work. End of the day I feel at peace and yet restless to begin the work I love, the next day. I have always viewed myself as an artist. It is the passion of creating and the fact that there are no limits to where you can take your craft. I have vast Seven years experience of shooting. (fashion, products, editorial, advt.) My work has been published in several leading fashion magazines like Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Lofficiel, International Salon, M, Atelier, Seventeen etc. and have been shooting some well-known fashion designer's creation like Sabyasachi, Ritu Kumar, Manish Malhotra, Ritu Beri, Rohit Bal, Wendell Rodricks, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Arora etc. I have the experience of working in association with advertising agencies like O & M, Lowe Worldwide, Grey Worldwide, Leo Burnett, Creative Land Asia, Bee Hive etc. Iâ??ve also done the promotional stills for couple of films including Ghajini, Kidnap, Victory, Raaz II, Aayesha etc. And last but not the least the three awards I won at Cannes was a dream come true!
